EMPLOYMENT OFFICE

The Employment Office has a broad area of responsibility including individual and family care, labor market initiatives, adult education, municipal activity responsibility, and integration. Our work is based on a holistic view, participation, and individual responsibility. Through our support, care, and treatment initiatives, we aim to strengthen people's ability to change and increase independence.

The office consists of five units: Children and Family, Support and Treatment, Adults, Reception and Guidance, and Quality and Operational Support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a labor market officer in Staffanstorp municipality, you will work closely with participants at various stages of their journey to the labor market. The assignment is varied, meaningful, and characterized by collaboration, responsibility, and development, both for the participants and for the organization.

In the role of labor market officer, you will:

• Conduct assessments and have individual conversations with participants to provide guidance and support.
• Establish, follow up, and document individual activity plans.
• Match participants with internships, studies, or work based on their conditions.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and maintain ongoing dialogue with internal and external partners.
• Work in a motivating and supportive manner to strengthen participants' independence and development.
• Participate in the organization's development work and contribute to quality, legal security, and good service.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is engaged, structured, and has a genuine interest in people and labor market issues. You have the ability to create trusting relationships and thrive in a role where collaboration and responsibility are central.

We see that you have:

• Relevant post-secondary education, for example in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent.
• Experience working with labor market issues, working within government, guidance, or similar assignments.
• Good administrative and communicative skills as well as experience in documentation.
• The ability to work independently, structured, and solution-focused.
• A valid driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of labor market regulations and government authority. Personal suitability is highly valued.
